Hi, I’m Claire, the face behind Pure Class Vintage, which I have been running since 2024, and shopping in for far longer than that.
I’ve always been drawn to beautiful, sparkly things and the unmistakable quality found in vintage clothing, fabrics, intricate design and craftsmanship. There’s something magical about holding a piece that has lived another life before reaching my hands, and then yours.

When I took over the shop, my aim was to create a relaxed, inclusive space where shoppers can browse at their own pace and experiment with their fashion styles and tastes in a relaxed environment. I want everyone who walks through the door to feel welcomed, special, and just a little bit fabulous.
Helping someone find a piece that makes them light up is one of my favourite things in the world. If you’re looking for a statement piece, or need help in putting an outfit together, I offer a personal styling service where I work with you to identify what you are looking for depending on the occasion with the aim to helping you discover something new.

There’s a common misconception that vintage equals fancy dress, but that simply isn’t the case. It is possible to wear vintage every day. Many of my customers love mixing eras and blending these pieces into their modern wardrobe.
